The Training Plan It's not just picking a couple of classes with catchy titles. It's thoughtful. An investment in your future. It means sitting down and taking a good hard look at yourself. Your strengths. Weaknesses. Industry trends. Client tools and timelines. It means collating all this information and coming up with a training plan that will keep you growing. And marketable. You put the plan together and submit it. Or you schedule a time for us to work on it with you. And once the plan is nailed down, you work on the execution.
Internal Sessions Not everyone is born a Meridian consultant. Chances are you've got a good grasp of the technical. Best practices. Software development methodologies. But you may not be tuned in to some of the differences between the IT professional who is a full-timer in an organization and the one who is a consultant. Not to worry. We offer regular after-hours sessions that will help you figure out the do's and don'ts. We also feature technical presentations and self-study sessions given by other Meridian consultants. Opportunities to rub elbows with your peers and learn some new things while you get a free meal.
Consultant Clearing House Ever run into a bug, problem, showstopper that you needed help with? Or maybe you were just looking for some ideas. Lots of resources are available to help you when those times crop up. And when you join Meridian, you can tap into yet one more. Write up an e-mail describing the situation and send it to Technical Operations. It will be forwarded to all of our consultants who practice the technology in question. If you don't get the answer, you'll get suggestions for things to try, places to look for more information or maybe questions that will probe a bit deeper into the variables. And when the going gets tough, the Meridians get going. Some of our systems and database administrators have given up their sleep to help colleagues in trouble. Enough said.
New Employee Bonuses If technical staff members successfully refer a candidate who is hired, they shall receive a $1,000 referral bonus. The $1,000 referral bonuses are paid 45 days after the new full-time employee begins work. The employee receiving the bonus must be a Meridian employee at the time the referred employee begins work.
New Client Bonuses If technical staff members successfully recommend or refer new client opportunities (new clients to Meridian with whom we begin new projects), they shall receive a bonus pay-out of $1,000.00. The bonus will be paid one month after the new client is invoiced for work performed (payment date). The employee receiving the bonus must be a Meridian employee at the payment date to be eligible to receive the bonus.
New Project Opportunity Bonuses If staff members (excluding Business Development) successfully identify and refer new project opportunities with existing clients (where the staff augmentation is actually undertaken by Meridian), they shall receive a bonus pay-out of $1,000.00. The bonus will be paid one month after the new project is invoiced for work performed (payment date). The referral must be non-published, non public domain information. It must be information of which Meridian had no knowledge prior to the referral and would not have otherwise received via client notification. The employee receiving the bonus must be a Meridian employee at the payment date to be eligible to receive the bonus.
