Meridian differentiates itself from its competitors in the following ways:

  • We offer our consultants quality employment unmatched at similar organizations. Our health, dental and disability insurance premiums are fully paid by Meridian. We offer 3+ weeks of vacation per year and a 401K with a dollar-for-dollar immediate vest match. All of these offerings allow Meridian to attract a higher caliber consultant, ultimately benefiting our clients not only with a higher level of expertise, but with a higher sense of stability in the consultant-client relationship.
  • We only present candidates who meet our client needs. We have a team of eight recruiters and recruiting analysts – all of whom are full-time employees of Meridian. We invest significant time in getting to know our clients, and are an extension of that brand when interfacing with candidates.
  • Meridian knows exactly who our consultants are. They all work for us. We do not rely on subcontractors or 1099 relationships.
  • Meridian offers consultants across the entire spectrum of Advanced Technologies. We are platform agnostic, supporting everything from Mainframe to Microsoft and Java.
  • Because of our length of time in the industry, Meridian has significant exposure to a number of project types and is well versed in specialties such as Business Intelligence / DSS / Data Warehouse, legacy conversions, ERP, CRM and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).  In addition, our Hardware & Software engineers generally come from major OEM’s with years of technical application experience. They are well versed in areas beginning with hardware concept design, production testing, quality assurance, and supply chain model methodologies.
  • Meridian invests in training for our consultants and improves their knowledge on client-related technologies.
  • We leverage 3rd-party relationships to bring benefits to our clients. We are currently a Microsoft Certified Business Partner and an IBM PartnerWorld member.
  • Account Management - we manage our accounts in the manner that our customer desires. Each client has an account manager and a relationship manager to ensure that we are meeting our client needs at all times. Simply put, we do our job -- bringing the right consultants to our clients at a fair price. Along the way we also abide by our client rules and support our client success in as low-maintenance a manner as possible.
  • From Meridian’s recruiting power and account understanding, we react very quickly to our client’s changing needs. Clients need to ramp projects up and down very quickly; we recognize the need and can accelerate this process.
  • We are very selective in our consultant identification process. We only employ senior-level consultants who have a proven track record of success.
  • We have a multi-tiered internal review process (quality assurance and continuous improvement) to ensure that every candidate you receive is qualified and ready to begin your engagement.
  • For Meridian consultants, training is not a benefit. It is a requirement. All Meridian consultants must submit annual training plans for review. These training plans take into consideration client needs and timelines, technical consultant skills and long-term objectives, industry trends and best practices. Once their training plans have been approved, consultants are expected to execute the training plans to achieve their training objectives.
