To celebrate not only the beginning of summer but our new and expanded corporate headquarters, Meridian Technology Group is hosting an Open House for our consultants, past consultants, clients and friends of the firm! The event will be held in our new offices on Tuesday June 24th from 4:30 until 8:00.

 

Meridian Technology Group’s continual growth led to our expansion into a much larger office space which serves as corporate HQ for our other offices in Bellevue and Olympia WA. and Scottsdale, AZ.  Now located at 12909 SW 68th Parkway (corner of SW Hampton) in Portland, OR 97223, we also have easy access on and off both I-5 and 217.

 

 We’re delighted with our new location and space and are particularly pleased with the many features of the building that contribute to and support our belief in making our environment a better one. The building in its entirety is very energy efficient. Each of our offices and hallways has a sensor turning the lights off if no motion is detected. The sensor is ‘intelligent” as it learns the patterns of activity in each space and adjusts accordingly over time. The HVAC has localized controls, one per each 1000 feet. Instead of one main control for the entire office, each “region:” can control the temperature as appropriate. The exhaust system has been set up to bring fresh air from the outside into the building and takes the old air out. Having been in other building without this feature, one can really tell the difference, breathing fresh air through the work day!

 

Meridian Technology Group continues to stay environmentally conscious. Prior to our move, we collected all old and outdated technology equipment (computers, monitors, CDs) and donated them to Legacy Recycling Center.  We continue to use recyclable paper for proposals. We’ve set our printers to default to double-sided printing. Our Employee Handbook is located on our website instead of issuing printed copies to new employees. Several years ago, we converted to ADP’s I-Pay so employees can look up their pay statements, thus saving paper and envelopes.
